The new 2006/2007 product catalogue from micronAir scores in terms of reader-friendliness and comprehensive content

Filter range significantly expanded yet again

Weinheim, 01st March 2006 – Freudenberg Nonwovens is presenting a persuasively user-friendly sales and information tool for all free workshops in the shape of its revamped product catalogue for automotive cabin air filters. The catalogue breaks new ground in terms of clear structuring, improved reader-friendliness and a unique product portfolio. For example, the world’s market leader for OEM filters has expanded its range of filters to include 70 new models for cars and commercial vehicles. This means micronAir can meanwhile provide customized particle or combifilters for more than 700 different types of vehicle. The 2006/2007 catalogue also includes numerous new filter models for Asian vehicle makes, such as Hyundai, Kia or Mazda.

Optimum planning tool for workshops
“We’ve talked to owners of free workshops and we’ve redesigned the micronAir catalogue precisely in line with our customers’ expressed needs”, explains Martin Berger, Head of Independent Aftermarket in the Filter Divisions at micronAir/Freudenberg Nonwovens. “The new catalogue is very user-friendly, and we’ve devoted a lot of attention to ensuring clear and helpful illustrations. This means the mechanic can offer his customers the very best advice, and save a lot of time when installing the filter concerned.” What customers will particularly appreciate: next to the vehicle model concerned there’s now also a drawing of the specific installation situation, including a picture of the filter, its salient features, and some brief explanations.

Upgraded filter competence
With a total of 300 different filter models for 700 vehicle types, micronAir, the market leader for automotive components is offering the world’s biggest product range of cabin air filters in OEM quality. “This means the free workshops can equip almost all types of vehicle, so they can guarantee their customers protection against particles and ensure a continuous supply of fresh air inside their vehicles”, says Martin Berger. In addition to numerous newly developed models for Asian vehicles like Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru or Toyota, micronAir has also included a variety of filters for new European vehicles in its catalogue, e.g. the 1- and 3-series from BMW or the Alfa Romeo 159. The product portfolio is rounded off by an expanded choice of models for commercial vehicles. To quote Martin Berger: “The micronAir catalogue is more than just an ordering tool – thanks to its reader-friendliness, its topicality and above all its informational content, it constitutes a vital cabin air filter compendium for each and every workshop.”
